Waterford City Installation 28th February – 25th March 2015
On Saturday, February 28th Blink. opened as an installation in a disused shop window in the heart of Waterford City, Ireland. The 18 portraits of Blink. are hung on a backdrop wallpaper designed by myself that contains photos of the personal effects found with the Jane Doe’s.
All photos were taken by Hayley K. Stuart and the wallpaper and window signs were produced by Suirdzign.
Honoured to be associated with an installation that is both visionary and inclusive. Well done Sarah for bringing art to the streets and people of Waterford. So many people who appreciate art are uncomfortable with a gallery situation this allows them to enjoy. I hope this is the start of a trend.

Thank you so much for your help and kind words. The signs and wallpaper were so integral to the installation and it wouldn’t have happened without you!

I think that what you are doing is very commendable and very important. I hope that you have many responses and maybe many of these women can go home. Keep up the great work. It’s too bad that someone else didn’t have the mind to do this many years ago.
